I told myself I was not going to be making any major beauty or makeup purchases until the fall. That’s what I told myself. But... then I got word that Sephora would be having another VIB sale before their regular November VIB sale. I decided that for this sale I would focus more on essentials and basics and leave the fun stuff for November.

Sephora Insider Appreciation Event Sale Details

The sale begins today, August 24th to September 3rd. VIB Rouge members can shop with a 20% off discount from now until then, using code YESROUGE. The second tier, VIB, can shop from August 30th to September 3rd and receive 15% off, using code YESVIB. The third tier, Insider, can shop from August 30th to September 3rd and receive 10% off, using code YESINSIDER.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder

I am a fan of the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer and have heard nothing but good things about this powder. My skin can be a bit finicky about powders so I will probably grab the mini of this just to be on the safe side. Especially since Hourglass isn’t cheap!

Juliette Has A Gun Not a Perfume

If not my favorite, one of my favorite perfumes of all time. I have never smelled anything like it before. I get tons of compliments when I wear it. And I’ve been out of it for awhile and haven’t gotten around to re-purchasing it. I tend to stick to body mists in the summer as perfumes don’t last on me in hot weather. But I will want this one to reach for when fall rolls around .
